Hilton Executes Asset Disposition Strategy, Announces Intent to Sell 8 Properties, Including Hilton Boston Back Bay
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.--Summarizing its successful efforts to sell selected hotel assets at attractive prices, Hilton Hotels Corporation said that from May-July 2005 it completed the sale of 11 properties for a combined $416 million. Net proceeds after property level debt repayment, minority partner distributions, selling costs and income taxes totaled approximately $335 million.

WASHINGTON--Existing-home sales surpassed market expectations and reached another record in June as low mortgage interest rates and favorable market conditions continued to attract buyers, according to the National Association of Realtors.
